Bizzie Bees, have you been to any beaches in Hong Kong lately? Spot any plastic washed ashore?
Here are some I found with my friends Emmerson and Snowflake when we were in Svalbard a while back. The plastic had been swirling around and around in the Arctic Ocean! After we made our art, we picked up all the plastic we came across and brought it back to the boat so that it wouldn't harm any of our arctic friends.
On the topic of ocean plastic, Emmerson and I will be at the Hong Kong Maritime Museum this Sunday, April 23 to make colouring books about what we can do to address this problem.
If you have time to visit the museum with your family on Sunday, stop by and join us from 3:00-3:45 pm or 4:00-4:45pm.
Have a happy Friday, happy EARTH DAY on Saturday and maybe see you Sunday!
