November Happenings
Bizzie Bees,
November is a bizzie month full of activities for you to take your family to. Here are my picks to get you started planning as we count down these last few days of October.
Nov 4-5
In the Woods We Connect— Kadoorie Farm and Botanic Garden Autumn Festival There will be activities, workshops, animal encounters, a green market and more. Last year I took part in the festival with my Botanical Banquet project and had the chance to walk around and see everything happening between sessions. It was a fantastic weekend being out in nature, learning and creating together.

Nov 5 + 12
Bring me a Bookmobile—Find out what the bookmobile is doing all over Hong Kong and help spread the love of reading. Visit the truck and also meet some authors when the bookmobile is parked at PMQ.

Nov 11-12
Which Roald Dahl books have you read? Which is your favourite and why? This year's Standard Chartered Arts in the Park's theme is The World of Roald Dahl. In Causeway Bay, there will be parades, storytelling, a drum jam, art stalls and more.
Nov 17-Dec 26

The World of Tintin ArtisTree has grown and moved around a few corners to a new building. Visit the new space, still in Taikoo Place, Quarry Bay, to see all things Tintin. Perhaps it was reading about his many adventures that sent me off on my own adventures. This postcard was my souvenir from Belgium when I went backpacking through Europe right after university. I'm looking forward to seeing the illustrations and artwork along with the model of Tintin's apartment.
Nov 23-25
Lumières Hong Kong A light festival with installations around Hong Kong. Get outside with your family and practice being an art detective!

Hong Kong Maritime Week Family Fun Day is also on November 26, 12-5pm
