Studio visit: senselessart

The bee and me feeling right at home in front of the animal wall at senselessart Studio!

I visited Rachel Smith, our current Verandah Gallery exhibiting artist, to see what her creative space is like and to look at all the different types of art she makes.

As you can see, I do tend to gravitate towards animals and these are some prototype friends for future workshops that she will be teaching. I think I'd like to make one of a pika as they're so round and adorable.

There were many things to look at in her studio and so many cupboard doors to open! I discovered treasure troves of tools and materials.

I also came across this grand collection of vintage suitcases and Rachel even let me look inside several of them. What do you think she keeps in there?

Rachel's show—Matchbox Days will be closing on Sunday, 29 September, 2019 so if you haven't come to PMQ to see it yet, you still have several days to do so. Make sure you stop in to visit me, Professor Peabody and Pim as well!
